Hiiro Tomita‘s latest client was a student from UCLA. They requested to emphasize the asian culture with a sense of serenity and peacefulness. The koi fish was used to symbolize the asian theme. Sakura petals were added to evoke a sense of movement and incorporate nature. At times like these, with the tragedy occurring in Japan, hopefully people can look at this hat and appreciate the traditional artwork of the Japanese culture and forever remember what impact the tragedy has affected on all of us. Photography credits to Cheetography. Visit Hiiro Tomita if you are interested in finding out more.
