Sam The Rebel Crazy Crab 59FIFTY

Sam the Rebel and his homie the Brim Reaper have cooked up a fresh catch of custom, limited Crazy Crab 59FIFTY New Era fitteds. Unfortunately, if you didn’t get in on the pre-order that happened in March, you probably won’t be able to get your claws on one. The cap comes in a black and orange colorway, paying homage to Sam’s favorite team, the San Francisco Giants. The front features the Crazy Crab rocking a mini cap while catching a baseball. We’re pretty sure these caps are no longer available, but maybe if you ask the Brim Reaper nice enough he’ll sell you his, but we doubt it. #SpeakWithYourCrazyCrab

  1. HA! This is amazing! Thank you so much,, Yea I did a quick pre sale that lasted less than 30 minutes before the 25 spots were filled,, hopefully we can do another similar run in the future with a variation. The Crazy Crab has a lot of meaning to Giants fans who remember him from 1984 when other teams in the Major League were adopting the idea of a mascot for their team. The Giants, who were having the worst season, went another way with the idea, and adopted their “Anti Mascot” the Crazy Crab. The Crab was hated by fans (by design) and would come in between innings to mess with fans and players. Most notable, pitcher and veteran color commentator Mike Krukow, remembers hitting the crab with a bags of rosin. Most recently, there was a Crazy Crab sighting at AT&T Park, when the mischievous crab showed up during their “Farewell to The Stick'” night at the ballpark to run a muck in memory of the last season at CandleStick Park. If you visit AT&T Park in the future, stop by “Crazy Crab’z” and try their Crab Sandwich, Located in the eating area behind the scoreboard, and you’ll see this little guys picture on the sign logo.
