I love the MLB Authentic Collection Low Crown On-Field 59Fifty caps. Unfortunately the problem I have with the new low crown hats is a rather big problem. I wear size 6 3/4 and the new low crown versions are no longer made below 6 7/8 like they used to do with the wool on-field caps. I can promise I’m not the only person out there who feels the same way by any means. What’s really frustrating is when I’ve been told to look in the youth section because New Era does make the hats in sizes 6 3/4 and below. Unfortunately they’re missing the point. I have looked in the youth section and have ordered size 6 3/4 and the problem still existing with those caps is the train conductor tall/boxy look making it look like I have 50 gallon drum sitting on the top of my head. I’ve also been told to look at the 39Thirty caps as they do have them in the lower crown. Once again, New Era is completely missing the point. I am a huge fan in the authentic on-field collection with the low crown and have worn several in that style when they actually made them in size 6 3/4. In the last week I finally put my foot down emailing & tweeting New Era on making the Authentic Collection Low Crown On-Field 59Fifty caps in sizes 6 3/4 and under. Again, the 39Thirty caps are ok. I do own a few of them but by far and way my favorite is the authentic collection. What is it going to take for New Era to produce the AC Low Crown On-Field 59Fifty caps in the smaller sizes?? Please bring those sizes back….please bring them back.
