So has anyone seen the Padres TBTC caps at all, as in physically(either at a team shop, et cetera)? Wondering if it has the eyelets or not and if the fit is garbage or golden.

Ordered one on MLB but 2-4 week backlog. If that is the case I don't understand why their is such secrecy regarding the style guide sheets that go out to retailers for the TBTC caps. Obviously its on backorder because they don't even have them yet(I put obviously at the beginning of sentence, but I'm just guessing, hahahah!). How about they put up ALL the caps that will be at retail eventually, and for caps that won't be worn until say August they can have it listed as "3-4 months backorder".

Wow, I am really torn over picking up the Brewers faux-back. I removed the NE flag logo from my Milwaukee Braves cap and it fits flawlessly. On the the other hand, this faux-back seems to be a different shade of blue, so maybe.

@HatGuru: Are some of the logo discrepancies re:Cooperstown/TBTC due to the fact that cap-logos are embossed now while in the past they were either embroidered flat or a sewn on patch?

That could be a Lids embroidery job. Sometimes there are gaps in the designs like that and there is not really much you can do, it's just the way the machine stitches it.

If your buying two hats along with the membership, the first cap wont be discounted but the second cap will! Thats what happened when i bought two hats for the first time from HC last month along with signing up for the membership, so at least you will get one cap discounted at checkout

Looks like a horribly-done custom embroidery job. Patches for authentics have always been on the left, and this almost looks like paint or magic marker.
