The biggest error of all is having the new era flag on the side of the HC version, tonal or not.

Unavoidable thanks to NE unfortunately. And the Giants are terrible with TBTC's so there are no old poly on-fields to search for either so far as I'm aware.

Im a batter man guy! Id love it if they put out a 92 Giants which had this logo I believe.

This cap was used until the '93 season

Here is a photo of the Giants hats used from 1983-93. The one on the left is a Sports Specialties fitted. The "F" is slightly longer on the top bar and the drop is a little longer compared to the New Era "F" on the right, circa 1992. In both cases, the "S" overlaps the "F" first then "F" overlaps "S". I saw the 1983 at HC yesterday and it's a nice looking one. It's MUSA with Imported Material

Also notice the Sports Specialties logo also has an outline. Later on, they changed the logo to not have one.

What is weird about this particular Giants cap logo is that the embroidery on the original New Era version has round edges, which is something New Era never did with their logos. Only Roman Art did their logo embroidery like that. It was very distinctive. I once compared Roman's version of the logo to New Era's and they were 100% identical. I personally think it may be possible that New Era contracted Roman Art to do this logo, because I don't believe New Era's embroidery machines were capable of making a logo like that, and they still can't.

Got the purple Tampa Bay Devil Rays custom/kinda TBTC in yesterday. Really fantastic cap. I'll try to throw some pictures up tonight (and maybe a few others; I've gotten a ton of caps since I last uploaded pictures).

Not sure if anyone else jumped on it, but it was worth it.

I was going to- but the square batterman killed it for me. NE and MLB kinda ruined coop caps for me. It's such a nice cap too. Ironically I found a road A's cap that has a square batterman from 1993- that one is perfect down to a T.

I still grabbed their TBTC NE error tho- that cap w black under will get a lotta use from me.

Anyone grab the Wool ones Fitted_Markie got so butthurt over?

You're absolutely KILLING my wallet, Hat Club.

I'm probably gonna pass on these (Which I'll probably regret) because there's word the even OLDER ump caps (Think AL in Angels in the Outfield) are gonna drop a little later in the year. Those I absolutely CAN'T pass up.

Does anyone know when this was released or know any information? Apparently it's a Hat Club custom.

Before anyone jumps in, it's not the same as the Turn Ahead the Clock cap, the compass is upright, not enlarged at a rotated angle.

Right there with you. Probably gonna skip the late-90s designs and hold out for the early-90s Angels in the Outfield era caps. So simple, but so good.

Anyone know what the poly is like on the 1914 Cubs cap? I know there has been some issues with navy poly lately.
