Wow, this new style is sounding like a disaster.

Sell these for $12 and I might buy one to wear to the gym, mow the lawn or play golf in when it's exceedingly hot. But $36 for something that costs so little to produce, just because it has a plastic MLB logo GLUED on, forget it.

This is basically how I view DE right now except I'll pay a slight premium for a unique design that isn't available in Performance Poly. But even with DE's I paid a decent price on I still end up only wearing them when I'm sweating like hell in dirty conditions.

I ended up liking DEís a decent amount. I didnít like when they made SE caps DE but they had their place and Iíve got some good ones. DE didnít feel low quality to me. The description of these sound exactly how I imagined. Tennis cap garbage. The stupid plastic mesh from the HR Derby wouldíve been better.

I've almost completely stopped buying New Era hats, and I took quite a break from the whole thing. I came back briefly to see what was coming up for next year, and this is what is being offered? And of course people continue to say they like them. Not so much on here, but on social media. I don't see why New Era or MLB would do anything different than what they're doing because fans continue to buy garbage for full price. How in the world are these not $20 at most? I can't wait to see how fans apologize for NE when the logos are all falling off.

I tried on the new BP Cap today and it fits great. I mean yes, aesthetically it doesn't look anywhere as nice as a DE Cap, but I feel like it's going to be a great performance cap. I'm sure the players wanted the hats this way. These were made for them than us...selfish players. JK!

I agree. Even $20 is even too much for these trash heaps. I have seen a good amount of people giving negative feedback with these and how garbage they are. One of my good buddies works at lids and he said they only sold about 1 in each size for these from Thurs Night-Sunday, of course this is just one location and isnít indicative of their general sales. I doubt NE says whoops and takes these caps back, but weíll see what they do to push these down our throats in the future.

So I just went to Lids to check out the new BP caps. The sizing is as bad as the original batch of DE caps a few years ago. The 7 3/8ís were all very tight and most of the 7 1/2ís were too big. But I found one Mets 7 1/2 that fit like a 3/8. Not sure that I love it, but I certainly want one for the collection. I think my Nike featherlite Mets cap will remain my go to cap in the summer. It is just too lightweight and comfortable to wear anything else in the summer.

I finally saw them in person today too. The material isnít as bad as I was expecting but the logos and especially the batterman suck. I want the ST patch but can already see myself transferring it to a better hat.

Did I overlook it? Did they participate with this cap line?

Was hoping for an alternate logo but I doubt it...

Looks like two styles were posted for the SF Giants today. Thereís a new ďGĒ logo for the black cap.

I am sort of digging the pro-light logo for the Rockies. Hopefully they will throw it on an AC as an alt. Reminds me of the old Denver hockey team logo.

The orange one is basically the player's weekend cap it looks like?

This orange Prolight cap has a gold outline around the black SF, vs. a white outline on the players weekend cap, but they are pretty similar.

The black G cap is a fashion cap, I'm fairly sure of it.

Received my Seattle Mariners ProLight 59fifty today.

Fit is incredibly snug, almost a full size snug.

Crown is more stiff than Poly/Wool/Diamond Era - has a structured look (not a bad thing)

Construction is incredibly light, but I wouldn't say it feels cheap or less durable.

Logos are firmly adhered, no sign of the peeling that's been reported.

Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised.

Note: I am not a fan of Diamond Era, so these replacements have been a welcomed change.
