The two Red Sox HC customs that are CC's have dark blue tonal flags that you can barely see (and no batterman on the back) so I'm leaving those as is.

Now, the garish white flags on the sides of my regular Red Sox & alt. hats? Those I need to remove when I get the chance...

Has anyone attempted to remove the dates on the brim of the 100th Anniversary MiLB hats? Some cool designs but terrible gold numbering on the brim.

On the brim?! Ugh! That seems like it would be harder to remove, too, since the surrounding stitching would be a lot thinner than the side of the hat.

Yeah, they reissued some solid hats (and some are hitting discount) but man, that brim is terrible. Was hoping I can could remove it. I guess when when there's one on $10 hat day I'll give it a go.

Ugh, that placement on the brim is brutal.

Example of flag removal on a cream colored cap below. A bit more noticeable than fixing a dark color cap but then again the flag itself was particularly obnoxious on this. The fabric the thread is attached to inside the cap is the same color as the poly and that makes the process a bit trickier as you have to take extra care not to gouge the cap.
