I’m in Arizona for a few days. Decided to check out the team store to see their new on field caps. I went through every single one of them and it’s 100% Bangladesh so far. The Poly is that typical stiff and greasy Bangladesh poly that we are used to. A super easy pass for me. I did notice that the Triple A affiliate (Reno Aces) had quite a few MUSA w/IM caps that had decent poly. I guess I’m a cap SNOB now because I refuse to purchase or place a non USA made cap on my head. I even pass on the good/decent Chino poly.
They had Reno caps at Chase Field? I went to Reno in early August and the Aces didn't have any made in USA left. I'll be in AZ in the spring so hopefully they'll have some left. _________________ The Ballcap Blog is back: @ http://ballcapblog.blogspot.com
Yeah they actually had quite a few Aces caps there. A good amount of Made in USA w/IM mixed in with China. They have this really nice Grey on field with a Dark Navy Blue Bill. That whole batch was USA made & the Grey underbill was a nice touch.
Also the Sedona Red cap with the Snake D had plenty of the old fashioned 100% USA great poly. I picked one up as well since it’s discounted as an on field.

I was at Greater Nevada Field (Where the Aces play) a few weeks ago for the 1868 playoff match vs Sac Republic, and while they didn’t have any MUSA poly Aces caps, they had an absolute GRIP of MUSA poly Reno 1868 caps that were all half off. Even though I’m no fan of their jenky little soccer team, I had to pick one of those up.
The Giants will be celebrating their 20th season at Oracle Park in 2020. There will be a patch on the jerseys they wear. Maybe they will have a hat patch as well? Haven’t seen any designs of the logo yet though
