| I would use a spray/ cleaner designed specifically for hats. I use the cap cleaner+deodoerizer w/ brush from hat club. Just follow the instructions and you should be good. |

What about Spray 'n Wash? I ran out a few months ago but when I had a bottle of it, it seemed to help make some hats look clean and smell pretty good too.
Someone on this board suggested soap and a toothbrush, I tried that on an A's hat on a yellow bill, it removed the dirt but kind of left a stain mark too... oh well, probably that would work better on a darker color hat or visor..
Yeah, I used the new era cap brush and cleaner from Hat Club too, it helps but if you have a Yellow Pirates or A's hat, it doesn't remove the dirtiness. |

| I have used soap a toothbrush but I don't recommend it. Depending on the soap it can leave a soap stain thats an eyesore. Altho that stain was removed by that hat cleaner+deoderoizer i mentioned earlier. |

Yeah, on my A's hat, the soap/toothbrush trick made a pretty big sweat mark, as if I was sweating a ton and it left a stain, but I can probably get rid of it.
And... why not frebreeze? I don't think it would ruin or stain your hat to try it. It could only make it smell better. But if you're worried, maybe try the hat club "cap cleaner + deodorizer". |

| Well since the odor is most likely coming from the sweatband I would spray frebreze on a clean cloth and wipe the sweatband with it. Avoid spraying the inside of the cap with the frebeze especially the crown. Take your time and don't rush cause one mistake cud ruin the hat. |

ok, love the B18c, you own a DC or one of those swapped civics? Is febreze the best odor eliminator? _________________ "I don't care what nobody say I'm a be me" |

No DC but I do own an EF, nothing like a swapped hatch imo. And I have never used Frebreze so I'm not sure. |
