Hip-hop legend DR. DRE has unveiled his latest work of art - a high-tech line of headphones with a price tag of $399.95 (GBP200). The Still D.R.E. rapper/producer has teamed up with Interscope chairman Jimmy Iovine and Monster Cable Products to launch the new piece of technology, called Beats By Dr. Dre, which went on display at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on Sunday (06Jan08). The headphones feature a new driver technology, which allows users to hear music the way Dr. Dre would in a professional studio. He says, "When I'm making a track, I'm trying to capture the sound that makes me go 'now THAT's the s**t!' "And I want that reaction from everybody who hears it. I spend a lot of time in the studio listening to my music through headphones... with Beats, people are finally going to hear it the way they should: the way I do." | Dr. Dre is the man... The Chronic album was arguably the best album of all time in my books. He is 10 times the man Jay-Z is, Dre is a major hiphop influence, from eazy-e to eminem. No one can even touch this guy, not even Jigga Man. |

| Yeah Dre is dope. But anyone know how Kanye is doing after the whole tragety with his mom. Man I hope he's coping with it okay. Havent heard anything from him in a minute. |

Last thing I saw was tongiht about him. He seems fine, they asked him what is the next big thing in music and he said "the spice girls" lol

the wu tang empire. i wouldn't front on these boys.. and they were making clothes and video games and all kinds of useless sh*t before jay-z/dre/whomever. all that while making some of the best rap to date. ODB RIP. DURR DURR DURR.
