Just curious...

Any of you clean your hats after wearing them?

It's summertime and a lot of my caps get sweat in, a lot more than usual. If you think about it, it's kind of nasty to just put them away after wearing them and sweating through them, but maybe that's just me.

I've started wiping down the sweatband with a damp towel and then letting them dry before putting them away.

Anyone else?

I pop them on the Re Cap bubble to help keep the shape and size. I've also found that the combo of sweat and Re Cap helps break the hat in.

I also tend to put the wool caps on sabbatical for the summer.

I usually take some alcohol wipes to the sweatband after day's wear

I just clean them if I sweated a lot of if they've become overly dusty. I wipe them down with a wet cloth or wet wipes.
