Do you mean the difference between the on field and retail TBTC hats this year?
The 2013 hat is similar but not the TBTC hat. |
I'm gonna guess it has the current H in Houston with the star and in orange and blue

Astros will 'launch' their new identity on Nov. 2, jerseys and hat will be sold at the event in the home and away dugouts which will be converted into Team Shops for the event.
They are doing a mix of what the Jays and Padres did last year, it could have been so much better and it could have been so much worse.

Sounds pretty cool. Nothing that the tigers would do. I do think the tigers could use an alternate. Kind of like how the giants have two grays, they should use one 79 and one regular jersey.

Nothing for the Red Stockings this year and I am curious to see player reaction to the new BP's.

Are they still of the 3930 model? Or did they make a move back to the 5950 for BP? |

Are they still of the 3930 model? Or did they make a move back to the 5950 for BP? |
For now all I can say is there will be a new line of 5950's and there will still be 3930's next year, how they are allotted is another question...

They actually used to have them in the early 2000's. Had the location of ST, but on the back. Similar to the Mets 50th anniversary patch.

Speaking of BP, I wish New Era would give it up already with those ugly 3930s and go back to the mesh 5950s that were actually comfortable and nice-looking. |

No patches, was more thinking about how NE is trying to squeeze every last ounce out of people's wallets.
Speaking of patches I'd keep an eye on the World Series hats this year.
