How can I shrink it without damaging it, will wetting it and putting it in the dry cleaner work?

Wear the hat. I always get my hats 1 size big because new era makes their hats to shrink. The sweat and moisture from your head will shrink it. If you really want to, wearing it in the shower works. |

My advice is dont ever wash and dry your hats in the dishwasher or washing machine. The brim will soften and the cap will discolour. |

The best way to shrink a Cap is to:
1. Fill a wash basin with warm water.
2. Soak the hat in the water (not the brim)
3. Remove the hat from the water
4. Dry the hat immediately with a towel.
5. Wear the cap until completely dry. |

I had a bad experience with hats, I basicly make sure it fits well when I buy it. They all fit diffrent, not all 7 1/2 fit the same. New Era has bad quality control. Love their hats thow |

JUST A LITTLE TOO BIG?
Take a spray bottle of water and spray the headband with the water, then let dry in the sun on top of an empty coffee can. Or, just let it dry without being elevated by the can. You can also dry it with a good portable hair dryer |

How to Break in a Baseball Cap
Don't you hate having your hat stick up in the front and bulge out? Hate looking like a train conductor? Then use this method to shrink your cap to the exact size of your head in a few minutes. The secret behind this lies in the cap. The cap I am referring to is a New Era 59fifty. The front section of the hat, like the rest of the hat is made of wool which shrinks if exposed to water. So...
1. Fill a bucket up with warm water or just get warm water running.
2. Soak your hat in the warm water until soaked.
3. Let your hat dry on your head and let it shrink. Make sure you have a towel around to wipe the water from your neck and face. |

I've got a "Fuzzy Dice" cap that is too big. Although I normally wear a 7 3/8, this one feels like I need a 7 1/4. I want to shrik it, but I'm worried about messin up the fuzzy dice texture, which is like a faux fur.
Anybody have experience shrinking this kind of cap? |

Dude im not sure...
I have seen this hat in person but the faux fur has me guessin'
I would spray it lightly with a spray bottle filled with water and
let it dry. I dont think it should affect the fur area |
