That's a bummer! If anyone finds the Giants St. Pats made in USA 7 1/4 I will take 2 of them and I will pay. I don't care if they're poorly made. _________________ The Ballcap Blog is back: @ http://ballcapblog.blogspot.com |

For the people who have tried the new BP/spring training caps, would you recommend buying true to size or going down a step? |
True to size for me. I’ve bought the Sox ST BP and the St. Patick’s Day cap. Both are comfortable. |
Good to know, thanks! |

has anyone seen a made in USA of the new Maroon phils cap?? |
Wearing one right now. The first run of caps from MLB Shop included some MUSA's but no-one has reported seeing any since unfortunately. My local eastern PA Lids aren't carrying the cap at all yet and I haven't made my way down to CBP to check their stock. |

Guy,
Did they add the batterman on the back to the on-field this year. I bought a MUSA w/IM Maroon Phillies cap from the team store while attending a game last year. Mine did not have the batterman nor did any in the team store. I guess they were keeping with tradition in terms of no batterman but it stall had the NE logo obviously being an on-field cap. I noticed the link above has the batterman with that hint of powder blue in it. |

Yep, powder blue batterman added this year. Last year's was technically a TBTC whereas this year it's an official alt. I think official alts are required to have a batterman. |

The SF Giants MLB 150 on-fields have arrived at the Dugout Store at Oracle Park. Unfortunately all I saw were Made in Bangladesh hats. The patch is basically a strip of nylon with rubber letting similar to the ones on the clubhouse hats |

That looks horrible. MLB really dropped the ball on this one. _________________ IG: erie_warrior19

The Giants St. Paddy's were USA made?!?!?! |
The 7 1/2's at Scottsdale Stadium were. But unfortunately they really were very poorly made. The new material doesn't seem to like the less rigid MUSA crown construction. |
Not sure if anyone else noticed, but the St. Patty’s Day caps sold at Scottsdale Stadium this year were the 2017 version. |

Ah, I wouldn't have noticed that since I never cared for the old DE material nor the standardized St Paddy's designs and thus never bothered becoming familiar with them. I just saw and felt that they weren't Prolight so I assumed they were the 2019 release. Makes a bit more sense now that they looked so beat up and fit nothing like this year's Chino ST caps. |

Anyone else surprised that the A's and Mariners aren't wearing patches on their caps for their Opening Series in Japan? |

Could have something to do with Derby closing. Turnaround time for applied patches from Chinese factories could take time. Just a thought. |

MLB was probably more worried about putting the ad patches on the jerseys. _________________ IG: erie_warrior19
