I have always thought the Diamond Collection era was the pinnacle for New Era on fields. Show me what Diamond Collection caps you have. Once Hat Guru or Insomniac get a hold of this thread it will be all over! Please no Cooperstown Collection or Authentic Collection pieces. I'll kick it off...sorry for the bad quality pic.

Cool thread.
Here's my Diamond Collection. All purchased back in the day (probably aging myself here) when these were all that was out there. They all still fit. Had to get the A's and Cards stretched. Also had the Orioles, Dodgers, Yankees and White Sox but they have all perished.
All predate the batterman logo. The A's cap is the first in my collection, was a big fan of back in the McGwire / Canseco days. Love the Indians cap. Don't fully understand why they felt the need to shrink the logo and change the shade of blue.

Nice Stevie! I used to have a lot more when I was a kid too! I would get the fitted cap for the team i was on playing pony ball. I forgot that I also have the Indians somewhere around here. Same as yours but, with the MLB logoman. I thought it was garbage when they shrunk Chief Wahoo as well. _________________ My collection.... http://www.flickr.com/photos/adamleroy/sets |

I just checked my collection and these are the ones that are diamond collection. All were bought in the 90's by my Dad or myself.

Nothing special here, just a few Diamond Collection hats, though the blue Phillies cap is a gem in my collection.

I wish I had more, these have received a lot of use for the 15+ years I have owned them.
The Orioles hat doesn't fit anymore, but for some reason I have still held on to it.

I agree that the Diamond Collection was the pinnacle for New Era, although, they still had sizing issues back then. The California Angels cap is a size 7 and fit perfectly even though I wear a 7-1/4. I have replaced a number over the years because they shrunk too much to wear. The best part was that it was not a trend yet and most of the time caps could be purchased for around $20. |

| Wow- very nice! Is this just a part of your collection or did you focus on hats that the teams do not wear anymore? |
