I'm looking to buy an older new era fitted NHL avalanche hat on eBay. The guy has a few sizes and I was wondering if I should go up a size or even two since the older hats fit more true to size? I'm currently a 6 7/8. Thanks

I'd grab a 7 and if it is a little too big you can shrink it easily.

Probably wouldn't even need to shrink it since it is wool. Probably shrunk on its own over the years. I generally get vintage caps in 7-1/4 now.

Just make sure 'the guy' on ebay is selling Legit New Era caps.
