How do I acquire the on fields with the grey under brim? 👀
Modern on-fields (AC polyester) almost all have black underbrims. You need to look for Authentic Collection WOOL and Diamond Collection caps on eBay if you want on-fields with grey underbrims.
The Mets '86 alt is an exception to the rule. It has a very high-quality grey underbrim and is quite possibly available at your local Lids. Look for the on-field Mets cap with a blue squatchee.
For anyone in NE still looking for the Red Sox Ortiz hat, they had some 7 1/8 and 7 3/8 at the Meriden, CT Lids. Made in USA. I know many folks were having trouble finding US made ones...

I was at the store recently. One of the guys working there was very rude. For a lack of a better way to put it. I'll never go back there again. To top it off, So much China made in that place. _________________ my cap collection :
