My latest purchase:

100% polyester but a lighter feel than typical New Era caps. Chinese made of course.
Fits well.

Wrote a little something about the caps as well: http://southernleagueneck.com/news/2017/stars-and-stripes-new-era-caps

It's a blog covering the other side of MiLB baseball, specifically Southern League, than what you see on the field.

I plan to have more cap articles as well, showing off my collection.

That's a good-looking July 4 Mobile cap, capsthetics. I might have to order one of those!

The Milb caps do look much better than their MLB counterpart with the liquid ass logo. What bothers me is Milb says "all proceeds" go to the WBV charity. What does that exactly mean? I've spoken with a merch director and all the sales of the hats go to the team. Lol. They donate nothing themselves. Some teams charge $29 and some $40. All the individual teams keep all monies earned from the sale of these caps. So what exactly is donated ?

I remember a Uni Watch article back when all this Stars and Stripes stuff started where he badgered MLB at a press conference about charity numbers/percentages and couldn't get a straight answer regarding dollar amounts. I'm thinking it must be a pittance, if anything.

It's likely a settlement deal.

1. Team orders X amount of hats
2. NE receives order, and bills team for normal sale but at new price point.
3. NE automatically pays $XXX to WBV at a fixed price per unit.

Anybody gotten into the minor league hometown collection? It looks interesting, though I didn't see any low crowns.

Did anyone see the new hispanic/latino promotion that milb just came out with? All sets look pretty nice with the exception of Kane County who did nothing.....oh well.

Also, does anyone know what the new hometown collection for 7/27 will be? I know one of them is the old teal charlotte knights but don't know the other two
